Standardized plans offering a supplemental policy to fill "gaps" in Original Medicare coverage. These plans are not affiliated or connected to Medicare.
Medical consultations conducted through a HIPAA and PHI- compliant platform that allows patients to talk to a doctor from the safety and comfort of their own home or on the go. It allows people to avoid waiting rooms, save valuable time, and the inconvenience of going to the doctor's office. In many cases, it allows people to talk to board-certified doctors, licensed physicians and therapists 24 hours a day / 7 days a week / 365 days a year. It is designed to replace ER or Urgent Care visits for non-emergency issues and routine medical conditions. As necessary, doctors can send prescriptions to the nearest pharmacy for their patients. Generally, consultations are performed via online video, phone or mobile app.

A Medicare Advantage Plan that provides all Original Medicare Part A and Part B health coverage and sometimes covers Part D prescription drug coverage. In most HMOs, you can only receive your care from doctors or hospitals in the plan's network (except in emergencies).
A Medicare Advantage Plan that provides all Original Medicare Parts A and B health coverage and sometimes covers Part D Prescription Drug Coverage. PPOs have network doctors and hospitals but you can also use out-of-network providers, usually at a higher cost.
A Medicare Advantage Plan in which you may go to any Medicare-approved doctor, hospital, and provider that accepts the plan's payment, terms and conditions and agrees to treat you - not all providers will. If you join a PFFS Plan that has a network, you can see any of the network providers who have agreed to always treat plan members. You will usually pay more to see out-of-netwrok providers. Not all PFFS plans offer Prescription Drug coverage, and an additional Prescription Drug Plan may need to be considered if you need creditable Prescription Drug coverage.
A type of Medicare Advantage Plan available in a local or regional area which combines the best feature of an HMO with an out-of-network benefit. Like the HMO, members are required to designate an in-network physician to be the primary health care provider. You can use doctors, hospitals, and providers outside of the network for an additional cost.
*** MSA Plans no longer available in Arizona for 2024 ***
MSA Plans are Medicare Advantage plans that combine a high deductible health plan with a bank account. The plan deposits money from Medicare into the account. You can use it to pay medical expenses until your deductible is met. Medicare MSA plans provide Medicare beneficiaries with more control over health care utilization, while still providing coverage against catastrophic health expenses. Typically, you need to include a Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) unless you have other creditable coverage.
A Medicare Advantage Plan that has a benefit package designed for people with special health care needs. Examples of the specific groups served include people who have both Medicare and Medicaid, people who reside in nursing homes, and people who have certain chronic medical conditions.
Plans offering additional benefits for consumers who are looking to cover needs for dental, vision or hearing. The plans are not affiliated or connected to Medicare.
If you become hospitalized, the hospital indemnity plans can help offset the cost of deductibles, co-pays and unexpected or additional expenses incurred but not covered by your other insurance plans.
An annuity is a contract between you and an insurance company that is designed to meet retirement and other long-range goals, under which you make a lump-sum payment or series of payments. In return, the insurer agrees to make periodic payments to you beginning immediately, or at some future date.
Typically, annuities offer tax deferred growth of earnings and may include a death benefit that will pay your beneficiary a specified minimum amount such as your total purchase payments. While tax is deferred on earnings growth, gains are taxed at ordinary income rates rather than capital gains rates.
Whether you are looking for a fixed annuity that pays a guaranteed amount that is generally a slightly higher return than a CD from a bank or you are looking for a fixed indexed annuity where you are paid a guaranteed amount with a portion of your return tied to a market index such as the S&P 500 with no downside risk, we have options for you! Contact us today to identify whether or not this option would be suitable for you as a means of growth for your financial portfolio.
Medicare and regular health insurance only pay for skilled services and rehabilitative care. Medicare does not pay for non-skilled services associated with activities of daily living or ADLs. When someone has cognitive issues or needs assistance with two or more activities of daily living, this often results in the need for long term care. There are many different way to receive care, and many different settings to receive it.
Being able to perform the ADLs is directly linked to independent living. The six ADLs are:
The average length of time that people need long term care is 3 years. In Arizona, the average cost of long term care is $292,914 ($97,638) at 2019 rates. That cost i,s projected to be $529,035 ($176,345 per year) in 2039. It is not just people age 65 or over that may have a need for long term care. However, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services states that a third of Americans who turn 65 will eventually enter a care facility. While the majority of care facility admissions will be for the short term (less than a year), about a fifth will stay longer than five years. Contact us today to review your options for long term care.
